Ned Hepburn: Explaining The Best Picture... →
nedhepburn:   Hugo. Martin Scorcese makes a film about a young French boy who learns about the magic of early filmmaking; also attempts to save a twelve year old prostitute (Jodie Foster) from her pimp. The Descendants. You were expecting a documentary about the punk group of the same name and this is not that. Moneyball. A 90 minute close-up of Mark Zuckerberg’s right testicle. Extremely...

“I hope with all of my heart that I stay funny. Otherwise this all goes to hell....”
– Louis CK: Live at the Beacon Theater (via drudgeons) I just watched this special, and it’s the best $5 I’ve spent in a very, very long time.

– Jason Lytle speaking on The Sophtware Slump via Line of Best Fit (via yewknee) Sophtware Slump was one of the first albums that I really connected with in high school. I still remember the first time listening to it at a cousin’s house after buying it from Ear X-Tacy in Louisville (which...

chadsnuts: Michael happened to be listening to Charles Park III when I sent him this PETMAN video. The result is this awesomeness. Love how it has footwear changes, but I’d like to see the robot upgraded to have alternate light colors for it’s 3 moods: Angry, Violent and Powerful. Awesome MAVS-ness is now upgraded with more awesome. Worth a watch, just for PETMAN’s blinking light head.

Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii account for... →
ericmortensen: Roku and Mac account for 2.3% each. Apple TV only does .8%. Sony TV and Blu-ray, combined, make up only .77%. No other traditional TV or Blu-ray devices even make the list.  Combined with the fact that Netflix accounts for 30% of all US web traffic, that’s a very interesting statistic.
